Whistleblowing at Sharp

Whistleblowing

We want to do what is right. Sharp strives to maintain a transparent business climate and high business ethics. We value the safety and respect of everyone affected by our business.

The Whistleblowing service is an early warning system to reduce risks. It is an important tool to foster high ethical standards and maintaining customer and public confidence in us.

The service is aimed to you who are employed/leased/consultant or have another connection to a company, to report suspicions of misconduct. A concern that is not in line with our values, ethical code and policies, and that may seriously affect our organisation or a person's life or health. For example serious harassment, discrimination, environmental crimes, bribery and more. You do not need proof of your suspicions, but all messages must be made in good faith. The concern can be made anonymously, the company then has no way of finding out who has sent in the report and, unfortunately, it is also difficult to contact the reporter directly.

We handle your personal data in accordance with the applicable Personal Data Act (GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation) and this personal data is stored up to 3 months. This whistleblower service meets the requirements under the EU Directive 2019/1936.

For workplace-related issues and complaints, we ask you to please contact your supervisor or manager. If the manager does not provide a satisfactory response, the employee should raise the situation with HR-director. If the employee is still concerned about a potential violation of Code of Conduct or law, the employee can then use Whistleblowing.

Your message will be securely handled. The whistleblowing service is provided by an external partner, to ensure anonymity. All messages will be processed in confidence.
